Containers: Microban sokoban in Busy Kids

Containers: Microban sokoban in Busy Kids

Containers is the second crate-pushing game in Busy Kids. It is for a child who has finished Boxes and wants harder puzzles: in a ship’s hold, every container has to be pushed onto its marked spot.

What is inside

  • 318 puzzles in five steps, from boards with one or two crates to rooms with six.
  • Straight to the next level. There is no list to choose from: the game opens on the next puzzle and offers the one after it when it is solved.
  • Help when it does not work out. If a level is not solved in two visits, next time the walls around the crates move back, and later one crate is taken away, always so that the puzzle can still be solved.
  • Stars for a short solution, just as in Boxes.

Where the puzzles come from

The first levels were made for Busy Kids. All the others come from the famous Microban I–IV sets by David W. Skinner. He allows them to be shared freely as long as he is credited, and we are glad to do so:

We solved every board again by computer to know its shortest solution and count stars fairly, and left out the very large boards that cannot be read on a phone screen.
